Street Art

Lately i got hooked up on a TV series called “Switched at birth” , it’s about two teen girls who discover that they were accidentally switched at birth. One grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while the other, who lost her hearing as a child, grew up with a single mother in a poor neighborhood. So besides it being a great show (definitely watch it if you get a chance!), the reason i’m mentioning it is because one of the girls on the show does “street art” which i always thought was just a fancy word for graffiti but now i know there’s a big difference! While graffiti can be just words or symbols sprayed on a wall, street art is an actual art and a lot of thought goes into it. In my opinion it’s beautiful, cool and puts a little color into the urban scenery.

These photos were taken yesterday on my way to have lunch with one of my best friends, and when i saw this wall i had to make it my background! I think it kind of matches my outfit don’t you think? :-)
